Meet Allison Smith

Allison Smith, Ph.D. created Rejuvenation Vacations, drawing from twenty-five
years of private practice in psychology and conducting workshops, facilitating
groups and coordinating retreats internationally. As President of a
villa/vacation management company, Director of a not-for-profit humanitarian
organization and 20-year Virgin Islander, she combines a broad range of experience and expertise in human relations,
innovative program development, the tourism industry and event coordination.
" I noticed in working with St. John guests that people wanted
"something more than a vacation", an experience that enriches their
lives and relationships. And there was a need to be hassle free in locating and
coordinating vacation services and adventures that were right for each special
guest. Groups are an extension of the desire for meaning and profound experience
in the beauty of a Caribbean island."
Allison is also the Founder and Director of the People Moving Forward
Foundation, a not-for-profit humanitarian, networking and educational organization,
edited the Many Paths newsletter and coordinates workshops and retreats on St.
John for organizations such as the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, Life
Without Limits, the Center for Living and many more.
A mother and grandmother, she is a 20 year resident of St. John who sailed to
the island on her sailboat "One Love" and enjoys sharing the Caribbean
experience with guests. She is a writer, sailor and teacher, offering workshops and retreats
in relationship rejuvenation, prosperity consciousness, life
enhancement, A Course in Miracles, emotional release and spiritual practice, on
St. John, on cruise ships and around the world.
She holds degrees from the University of South Florida and LaSalle University in
psychology, sociology, guidance and counseling, administration and supervision
and theocentric counseling. Allison and Rejuvenation Vacations are licensed by
the Virgin Islands Dept. of Licensing for consultation and related therapy and as a tour broker company.

Meet John Adams
John A. Adams is an author and
consultant available to work with corporate groups in Rejuvenation Vacations
retreats. He is the founder of
Life Without Limits of Mystic, Connecticut, a multi-media production company,
and Adams and Adams Building Services, Inc., a commercial janitorial services
company based in Enfield, Connecticut. In 1992, the Hartford Chamber of
Commerce named John "Small Business Leader of the Year" and, for two consecutive years,
the Springfield, Massachusetts Chamber named Adams and Adams to its
"Fabulous 50" list of leading privately held companies. During a
15-year career as an Air Traffic Controller with the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA), John often dreamed of starting his own business. In
August of 1981 President Reagan fired all of the air traffic controllers who
had gone out on strike that summer - including John Adams. That is when he
launched Adams and Adams Building Services which grew to over $3.5 million when he sold it in 1996, to follow his passion
of helping others discover Miracles at Work through his 12 Keys, Principles and Action Steps to Business Success.
Meet Susan Dickson Buchalter
"Suki" began an
ongoing self study of yoga and meditation in 1975. In the 80's she
studied with Amrit Desai, Don Stapleton and Patricia Schneider, practicing
prenatal yoga thru three pregnancies and three homebirths. In the 90's Suki
continued her practice and attended workshops with Guru Charan, Barbara Bender
Birch and classes with Patricia Schneider. Feeling drawn to teach she began
giving classes at Maho Bay Camps in 1997. She has studied with many
well known teachers including Rodney Yee, John Friend, Shiva Rhea and Cindy
Lee. She has an eclectic style but draws on the posture flow of Kripalu,
focusing on the breath as the main source of inspiration. As a resident of the
Virgin Islands since 1978, Suki's practice has been fruitful and retreat
participant's are enthusiastic about her oceanview yoga on the decks of their
villas.
