In The Stars was a popular 2-bedroom villa before the owners closed for upgrading and expansion. The results are fantastic and new for the 2006-2007 season!
The kitchen is a chef’s dream. Tastefully appointed and spacious— granite countertops, a large pantry and a breakfast nook—all await you and would be a delight for that special cook in your group.		Prepare appetizers in the gourmet kitchen, dine at the glass and rattan dining table, or relax with a book in the overstuffed living room chairs, all while enjoying the view and the breezes of St. John.
The inside of this home is lovingly furnished with furniture and wall hangings from around the world: including fabrics and baskets from Botswana Africa, wall art and pottery from Mexico and furniture and teak from Indonesia. In the Stars is also decorated with photos of St. John taken by the owner that features the island’s flora, fauna, and unique sights.		The main level has a great room that extends onto a fully-screened deck and is dominated by a stone archway inspired by stonework at The Caneel Bay Resort. Handcrafted by island natives, the stone dramatically frames the view of Coral Bay.
A casual seating area surrounds the corner entertainment center, just steps away from the stone archways leading to the dining deck.		The fully-screened deck boasts a dining table large enough for 12 and remarkable views. Screen doors lead to private decks adjacent to each main level bedroom suite.
In The Stars has four bedrooms - two on the upper level and two on the lower level - each with its own in-suite bath. On the main level, the two bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the great room for privacy. This bedroom features a queen-sized four poster bed and a walk-in stone shower...		All bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning, extra thick pillow top mattresses, and high thread count sheets for a heavenly night’s sleep. Bathrooms have custom cabinetry of cypress, mahogany and teak, and handmade soaps - glycerin for the sinks, and exfoliating scrubs for the showers.
On the other end of the main level, the second bedroom has 2 extra long twin beds that can be easily converted into a king. Its bathroom has both tub and shower.		Upstairs from the main level is a large loft. French doors open onto a deck with a hot tub and views of the national park. The loft level also has a queen size bed...
...and a queen size futon. There is a half bath too, making the loft a perfect spot for singles or teenagers in the group.		Relax in the spa at night and count the shooting stars and you will most certainly feel among the heavens.
Even from the driveway, In The Stars will earn a special spot in your heart. Backed by VI National Park land, the property feels remote, yet is just minutes away from beaches and restaurants too!		The lower level of the house is completely new construction. Inside, a full 2-bedroom living space with great room and gourmet kitchen awaits.
The big attraction, by far, is the 55-foot lap pool extension that is wrapped along the front of the great room! The large L-shaped pool is sure to be a gathering spot for all.		The pool is embraced by a 100 sq ft. patio complete with lounge chairs for sunning, and a table with dining chairs for enjoying your own private “happy hour” at the end of the day. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand upon your return from the beach.
Comming Soon-Lower Level Bedrooms, kitchen, living areas: Construction is still underway as you can see, but the new lower level kitchen will be ready for fall 2006. The cabinetry has arrived and are being installed.		Also on the pool level is a family room with a big-screen TV, home theater with surround sound and outdoor speakers, CD, DVD and Sony Play Station. Bring your favorite tunes, movies or games, or rent them at the local video store in Coral Bay.
The dining table on this level converts to a poker table (cards and poker chips included) or to a bumper pool table. Slide open a window to hand a cool drinks down to the lap-swimmer floating by.		Open the 2 massive 10 by 12 foot glass doors and step directly outside, giving you easy access from the lower level’s fully-equipped kitchen for preparing poolside meals or entertaining.
On this level there will be 2 more bedrooms with equal amenities to the 2 upstairs. One has a queen 4 poster and the other has the 2 extra long twins. Each bedroom has its own bath complete with large walk-in showers.		In The Stars is a hidden gem on St. John. Backed by VI National Park land, privacy is yours. It's no wonder the owners have expanded In Your Stars so even larger parties can enjoy its charm!
