Beyond the main entryway, you'll be enthralled by the open and expansive feeling of this impressive 3800 square foot home.		The enormous Great Room, decorated in cool pastels, has soaring cathedral ceilings and wall to wall sliding glass doors that open onto expansive wrap-around decks and endless views of the Caribbean Sea. Abundant ceiling fans and delightful year round trade winds will enhance your tropical relaxation.
For your island pleasure, there is an entertainment center with Video Library,Satellite Tivo-style TV, VCR, DVD, CD/cassette, a wet bar with ice maker for creating luscious tropical drinks, and lots of fun games!		The Relax and Renew area, decorated with soft overstuffed furniture is a lovely tranquil place, perfect for reading, quiet reflection, or a mid-afternoon nap.
Luminaria's glass dining table seats 6-8 and overlooks pristine views of Coral Bay. A beautiful hand painted oriental screen and floral chandelier add to the ambiance of this gracious dining area.		The large ultra modern gourmet kitchen is a dream for any chef. Accented with rich mahogany cabinetry and granite Corian countertops, it's equipped for preparing the finest feast. Extensive cooking and food preparation utensils include stainless steel double convection ovens, built-in microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster oven, Kitchen Aid standing mixer...
...Cuisinart Food Processor, coffee grinder, coffeemaker, deep fryer, warming trays, wine cooler and even an ice cream maker! Also included are a complete assortment of beautiful serverware and fine crystal. A telephone/fax and answering machine are provided.A washer/dryer and a half bath are located off the kitchen.		The kitchen opens onto a covered dining veranda for casual meals with a gas barbecue grill, a table for 6, and fantastic panoramic views.
The views are a feast for the eyes - from the Bordeaux mountain range, to Coral Bay, and even to down-island views of the BVI!		A third dining experience can be enjoyed from the spacious wrap around deck on the main level. Expansive down-island views and swaying native palms enhance this exceptional setting.
A soothing, hot springs spa is also located on this main deck directly off the living room. Picturesque views of Coral Bay is the perfect spot for a relaxing soak at the end of a long lazy day.		Serenity is the fitting name for the main floor master bedroom with huge picture windows, overlooking both a lush tropical garden and the glorious Caribbean Sea. Sliding glass doors open onto a private deck perfect for enjoying an early morning sunrise or late afternoon champagne. With delightful cross breezes, the Trane air-conditioner is rarely needed. Luxurious bedding accented in tranquil blues and greens is paired with a restful pillowtop king mattress.
The Master Bath has a marvelous circular shower made of native stone and glass block. The abundance of natural light enhances this oversized shower area.		An inside staircase leads to the lower level den and two spacious bedrooms with private baths. The den offers a second entertainment area with satellite T.V. DVD and VCR. It also has a queen sleeper sofa.
Tropical Gardens surround the exterior stairway which link the upper deck to the expansive poolside area and lower level bedrooms. Each plant was carefully selected and placed to create a unique and memorable ambiance.		Bliss, a very romantic bedroom, has sliding glass doors that open onto a large deck with shimmering Coral Bay views. A king bed, gorgeous embroidered bedding, hand crafted silk petaled lampshades and pillows adorn this beautiful room.
The third bedroom, Island Dream, reflects pure Caribbean charm with its cool feel good colors of periwinkle, aqua, lavender and lime. This bedroom offers a sparkling pool view and a bed that can be made up as twins or a king. Through the sliding glass doors, you will enjoy the beautiful pool views and sparkling waterfall.		Each lower level bedroom at Luminaria has an in-suite bathroom with glass block shower and shimmering glass tile countertops. The bath connected to Island Dream also has direct pool deck access.
Award-winning tile inlaid with crushed fossils and shells, provides a spectacular beach look for this expansive 2000 sq. ft. patio. A convenient wet-bar with fridge keeps beverages handy for those long lazy afternoons.		Bizazza iridescent mosaic tile creates a wonderful shimmering effect for both the large free form pool and waterfall. A well-placed water bench creates a cove where one can “sit under the falls” and enjoy the mosaic dolphins frolicking on the pool floor.
Fiber Optic lighting adds a striking array of color for your evening enjoyment.		From this hilltop location, the inspirational views have no comparison.
Luminaria is owned by Colorado couple, Lynn and Richard Hansen. A quest to find their "special piece of paradise" led them on adventures throughout the Caribbean. They fell in love with St. John while sailing the BVI's. The name Luminaria was chosen to reflect the bright and majestic spirit of their unique home.		The desire of the Hansens is to create a magical experience that will live in peoples' hearts long after their vacation has ended. Luminaria will stay in your heart forever!
